How to Make America Greater: More Immigration

This NY Times article is from last year. However, I feel like this article portrays a nice preface for the future of American. The author of the article is particularly criticizing our President's views on American Immigration. Trump believes that illegal immigration should remain just that. Illegal. Whether one is a Republican or Democrat and whether you like it or not, illegal is still illegal. The author says that Trump should embrace diversity. I agree in the sense that instead of making the immigration process to strenuous and time consuming, make it EASIER to become an American. Apparently America is a club that everyone wants to join. And like every club, you have to sign up. If Trump makes it easier to become a legal immigrant, than there would be much much much fewer illegal aliens to deal with and to bitch about. Just saying.
