Justice Department Sues California

This article is a little old, but it is still important to read about. This article is about the Justice Department suing California over its sanctuary city laws, calling them unconstitutional. Jeff Sessions is the spearhead of the suit. Jeff Sessions also threw jabs at the mayor of Oakland who posted warnings of ICE sweeps on social media to protect Oakland's large undocumented population. The defendants in the suit, Jerry Brown along with his colleagues, assure the sanctuary laws are legal under the constitution, but the suit continues.
