Politicians accuse NYPD of coordinating with immigration agents

This article by the New York Post is very very short and contains a dialogue between the NYPD director of legislative affairs and a councilman. There was a protest of Broadway and 20 people were arrested including two city councilman. ICE picked up a few of the protesters and arrested them. One of the councilman was saying the NYPD was cooperating with ICE to get people arrested and deported but the director of legislative affairs said they just simply ICE took those of illegal status away from the NYPD. The city council is basically just really pissed off at the police.
