There are 11 million of them, the best estimates say, laboring in American fields, atop half-built towers and in restaurant kitchens, and swelling American classrooms, detention centers and immigration courts.

This article talks about the deportation of illegal immigrants that have either been here in the United States of America for a short time or have been here for decades. New York Times crunches numbers into statistics and claims that most of the illegal immigrants (around 70%) come from China. The difficulty with deporting the Chinese back to their country is China doesn't cooperate with deportation. I can imagine it's because they already have a boat load of people there. No pun intended. NYT stated that most of the people that illegally immigrated here have children and them and their families deserve to stay here. They say that the Trump administration associates the illegal aliens who are convicted criminals with those who have not broken a law. This article ultimately defends those who cross illegally and supports demographics with statistics. They attempt to inform people that all humans are equal and should have the same opportunities.
